Some of the most pressing health concerns of the nation have been revealed by NHS data regarding its most popular web pages for medical conditions.

Millions of people turn to the NHS website every year for general medical advice for a wide range of conditions and symptoms. The section of the website advising on high blood pressure had 3.8 million views in 2022, which is the third most viewed page about medical conditions.

Coronavirus and long covid were revealed to be the only two search terms that were searched for more often than high blood pressure.

Phil Pyatt, CEO of Blood Pressure UK said: “This newly published data suggests that many people are concerned about their blood pressure and are looking for advice to help them manage it. The NHS website, alongside our own website, offers trusted and up-to-date information for anyone concerned about their blood pressure, or looking for ways to manage high blood pressure.”
