A. Having your blood pressure checked is simple, quick and painless. There are many places that offer free blood pressure checks:
- Your doctor's surgery
- Pharmacies
- Your work place, if you have an occupational health department
- Some gyms and health clubs
- "Know Your Numbers!"® blood pressure testing stations. These are clinics that are run in thousands of places across the UK in September as part of the The Blood Pressure Association's Annual Blood Pressure Testing Week
- Local health events.
Not everywhere offers testing using accurate monitors and trained staff. If you are in any doubt then get checked at your doctor's surgery when you next have an appointment.
