British Journal of Primary Care Nursing (BJPCN) & Primary Care Cardiovascular Journal (PCCJ)
BJPCN and PCCJ are digital platforms for primary care nurses, GPs and healthcare professionals with a specific interest in cardiovascular disease, diabetes and related disorders. These free-access online educational resources publish regular review articles, case studies, back to basic wallcharts, CPD modules, clinical craft cards and newsletters for members. In addition members have access to the back catalogue and can choose to receive special ‘themed’ issues and supplements in print.

The International Society of Hypertension (ISH) seeks to promote and encourage the advancement of scientific knowledge in all aspects of research and its application to prevention and management of heart disease and stroke in high blood pressure and related cardiovascular diseases around the world.
It does this through providing researchers and healthcare professionals information on the latest research in high blood pressure and holding international conferences.

National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE)
The National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) is an independent UK organisation that provides national guidance on promoting good health and preventing and treating ill health in England and Wales.
The organisation has published a number of guidelines on the diagnosis and treatment of high blood pressure.
Primary Care Cardiovascular Society (PCCS)
The Primary Care Cardiovascular Society (PCCS) promotes high quality cardiovascular care in the primary care setting. Its aims are to improve the care and outcome of patients with cardiovascular disease through the exchange of knowledge, and the promotion amongst clinical practitioners of research, education and development relating to cardiovascular disease in general, and community cardiovascular medicine in particular.
Any clinical practitioner with an interest in community cardiovascular medicine can apply for membership.
World Hypertension League
The objectives of the World Hypertension League are to promote the detection, control and prevention of arterial high blood pressure in populations. The World Hypertension League is a federation of leagues, societies, and other national bodies devoted to this goal.
